How stress affects your hair.

Stress wreaks havoc on ourv hormones, spiking cortisol levels and increasing inflammation in the body - both of which can trigger some hair loss.  In extreme cases of trama such as a car accident or a reaction to surgery, hair may fall out in clumps.. but these usually can return to normal after a year.  But effects of chronic, low grade anxiety are gradual and can result in the loss of multiple strands throughout the head. Best treatment is Visiting a doctor to rule out any underlying medical issues . Then, using scalp massage to stimulate blood flow and learning to manage stress.
